For many Polish families, November is time for reconciliation and reflection about those who are no longer with us. As a Polish community group, we remember our compatriots who lived and died on British soil. Therefore, members of our association paid a visit to a Sheffield City Road Cemetery to clean graves and light candles.
We want to take the opportunity to thank the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Manchester for providing us with the lights.
We have also visited some overlooked graves of British soldiers in our local cemetery.
Our mission is to remember those who sacrificed their lives so we can enjoy world harmony.
