Thank you for another fantastic day at RAF Ingham.

Thank you to all volunteers who came along and supported the White Red Eagle Association in volunteering at RAF Ingham.

“RAF Ingham Heritage Centre is a globally unique project to remember and celebrate the remarkable story of the Polish men and women of the Polish Air Force Bomber Squadrons, flying alongside the RAF during WW2.”

A quick introduction to WREA:

The White Red Eagle Association is the continuation of the White Eagle Association that had to cease its activities due to Brexit. As a result of the Brexit, most of the volunteers decided to return to Poland. Nevertheless, thanks to fresh blood from the Polish Airsoft group the White Red Eagle, the reborn and evolution was possible.

Our goals:

Our organisation, the White Red Eagle Association, was established to support the maintenance and protection of examples of Polish heritage in the United Kingdom. We intend to look after as many possible Polish places of remembrance in the Yorkshire area.

This is WREA second visit to this beautiful site. Most of our members already committed to continue volunteering at the site on a regular basis.

Huge thank you to Darek and Angelika for their hard work, members of the York Polish community organisation.

Below is the full list of our objectives:
