26th September 2026, Our Directors Maja Gojtowska and Magdalena Stefaniak represented White Red Eagle at the I International Congress & Expo of Polish Diaspora Organisations in London.
It was a fantastic opportunity to present our organisation, our community, cultural and educational activities, as well as Radio Polonia FM – an initiative of White Red Eagle C.I.C. 📻
One of the key topics of the Congress was fundraising and sustainable development for Polish diaspora organisations and CICs — including national, government and European funding opportunities, as well as developing our own sources of income.
For us, however, the Congress was about much more than presentations and training.
It was about people, conversations and building relationships. 🤝
We met representatives of Polish diaspora organisations, experts, speakers and people working to strengthen Polish communities across the UK. We exchanged experiences, discussed ideas and discovered new opportunities for future cooperation.
We were also proud to promote some of the wonderful initiatives and organisations we work with:
✈️ RAF Ingham Heritage Centre – preserving the history and memory of Polish airmen and Polish squadrons.
📚 Kraina Baśni – created by two wonderful radio presenters and enthusiasts of Polish literature and culture.
🎨 Play With Us – fantastic female animators with a pedagogical background, creating engaging activities for children and families.
We were also very happy to have Monika Maziejuk from Career Activator with us. As our professional career coach, Monika actively supported us throughout the event, helping with conversations, networking and exchanging experiences. ❤️
🙏 A huge thank you to 5AM Heroes, and especially Małgorzata Łuczak, for the idea, dedication and determination to bring this event to life.
Creating a space where Polish diaspora organisations can meet, learn from one another, build connections and explore opportunities to work together is incredibly valuable.
We returned from London with new contacts, new ideas, inspiration and even more motivation to keep developing White Red Eagle C.I.C.
And this is only the beginning… ✨
We are already looking forward to seeing everyone again at the Polish Organisations Ball!
